A Model of the Effective Dimensions of Interactive Learning on the World Wide Web

چکیده

Introduction The purpose of this paper is to describe a model that illustrates several classes of variables that may account for learning when the World Wide Web (WWW) is used as a vehicle for the design and delivery of a learning environment, specifically in the context of higher education. The model is based upon a model of school learning developed by Carroll (1963) nearly 35 years ago. Pending research results, the new model may be used to guide research, planning, development, and evaluation of the WWW as an interactive learning environment.
